About EA Run Club
We have seen members go from never running in their lives to completing 5km courses, progressing to 10km, and even smashing out 14.4km events. Some members are now training towards half marathon and full marathon distances, proving that with the right support, structure and consistency, running goals that once felt impossible can become achievable.
As a community, Elite Athletic members have taken part in events including 2XU Wellness Run supporting Beyond Blue and Run for the Kids. Our next registered event is the Melbourne Marathon 10km, with members currently building towards race day.

Yes. Elite Athletic Run Club is free for anyone in the Sydenham community.
You just need to book your spot through Momence so we know who is attending.

Elite Athletic Run Club runs in the lead-up to running events that Elite Athletic and its members are registered for. This means Run Club does not run year-round, but is scheduled around upcoming events so members can train with a clear goal in mind.
Sessions are held on Sundays at 10:30am around various locations in Sydenham and surrounding areas.

Run Club is for anyone in the Sydenham community who want to build their running fitness in a supportive, encouraging environment.
You do not need to be an experienced runner to get involved. Many of our members started with little to no running background and have gone on to achieve distances they never thought they could.

Our Run Club is structured with smart, purposeful programming to support different running goals and fitness levels. Sessions may include:
longer distance runs to build endurance
shorter distance time trials to track progress
cruisy community runs to build consistency
interval sessions to support speed, running efficiency and VO2 max
Whether you are aiming for your first 5km, working towards 10km, or building towards longer distances, our goal is to help you run with structure, confidence and support.
